Na Conference

May 30, 2007

My wife and I, along with some friends of ours, attended the Na conference in Louisville, KY this past weekend.  While we definitely felt old, we were greatly encouraged by the messages and loved the spirit-lead worship that opened and closed each session.  The highlight for me was John Piper’s second message on personal obedience – which had come from his recent study for his book in response to N. T. Wright, and also had some Future Grace flare to it.  Sovereign Grace Ministries recently sent out an email including all audio from the conference.  Here is the content of that email:

Free Downloads of New Attitude Messages

This year’s New Attitude conference for singles and young married couples has just concluded. (If you couldn’t make it, you can see photos and read conference updates at www.newattitude.org). At the conference seasoned leaders taught on humble orthodoxy, discernment, and how to apply the truth of God’s Word to our lives:

  1. Joshua Harris – Discernment
  2. Mark Dever – Discern Your Doctrine
  3. Albert Mohler – Discern Your Culture
  4. C.J. Mahaney – Discern Your Heart
  5. Eric Simmons – Discern the Graymatters
  6. John Piper – Discern What Pleases God: Himself
  7. John Piper – Discern What Pleases God: Personal Obedience
  8. C.J. Mahaney – Discern How to Apply

For the first time ever, we’re offering all audio messages from this conference as free MP3 downloads. You can download them one by one or choose the download set of all eight messages. (In order to view these free downloads, you’ll need to log in to our online store or follow the easy instructions to create an account.) In addition, an MP3 CD containing all conference sessions will be available for $12.00 next week.

Although the conference is over, the conversation on humble orthodoxy continues. Visit www.newattitude.org for blog posts, free downloads, and other resources to help you apply the truth of God’s Word to your life.
