Doug Wilson Reviews “Twilight”

January 7, 2010

If haven’t been following Doug Wilson’s review of Twilight at the Credenda Agenda blog you should.  So far he has eight parts.  I’m not sure if he is finished or has more to go.  Anyway, they are funny and helpful.  Good for parents and thinking Christians concerned with popular culture.

Twilight #1

Twilight #2

Twilight #3

Twilight #4

Twilight # 5 (A Twofer)

Twilight #6

Twilight #7

Twilight #8

You’re taking this story to far. It wasn’t meant to be written out as a girl staying with an abusive man because she thinks she, herself, is the problem. As a teenager i can completely relate. Everytime something bad happens to someone close to you or if they snap at you, you immediately think it’s your fault. It may not be healthy but it definitely isn’t the start of an abusive relationship. Please stop overreacting. Twilight is a simple, teenage love story. Let’s leave it alone.
